In the year 2012, a small group of friends created "Nanbaenda" with a vision to nurture the cultural values of Tamil speaking community living in Ireland.'Nanbaenda' - named after a Tamil colloquial term for 'Friend indeed', laid the foundation for 'Oorthiruvizha', an arts and cultural event aimed at fulfilling the vision of Nanbaenda.
